~'!inutes of a Special ~eeting of the Mound Village
Council held March 2, 1935.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Village
Oounoil o~ ~ound was held Saturday, ~arch E, 1935, at 8 o'clock P.~.
President.
Members '.!present: W~. C. Huestis~ Yost, Tuff, March and Morton
President s~aZed the meeting was called for the purpose of author-
izing the payment, of Federal Bond ~l, and the interest due on the
(~ertificates of Indebtedness a~d Bonds March l, 1935.
Whereupon, TruStee Yost offered the following resolution and moved
its adoption "That the Clerk draw two warrants, one for $1000.00-
for F~deral Bond ~l,'and one for $1~0.00, being the interest due
on Certificates of Indebtedness and Bonds, due March l, 1935."
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
duly seconded by Trustee Tuff, and upon vote thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Yeas-Yost, Tuff, March and Horton.
The following voted against same: None.
Whereupon, said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
No other business, on motion meeting adjourned.

~Minu~es of the Regular Meeting of the
Mound Village Council, Held March 5th, 19~5.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the Mound Village Council was duly held in the basement of the
State Bank of Mound, Tuesday March 5, 1955 at 8 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: W. C. Huestic, President,
Trustees, Yost, March, Tuff and Horton.
Minutes of the last regular meeting and special meeting of
Feb. B0, were read and on motion by Tuff, seconded by March,
that the minutes be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Trustee Yost, seconded by March, that Dr. J. p. Wilkins
be authorized to render necessary medical services in the Village
of Mound to those who are on relief, at half of his regular fee.

Fire Chief E~ause, on behalf of t~e Fire Department, asked to
have Zheir agreement with the Vii!a~ie renewed, and that he would
report at the next me?ting ars to the cost of a small £ire truck
to care £or outside calls.
Clerk was instructed to write 'to Walter ~[aGee Co. and ask them
how soon they could 'begin the laying of Water Mains in Sairley
i~ils. Motion by Yost that the Clerk's Bond be accepted, and
filed with the Clerk of the District Court. Motion Carried.
A motion by Yost, seconded by Tuff, that J. C. Stein be allowed
~0.00 for the month of February. l~otion carried.

Bills were read and on motion by Yost, seconded by Tuff, that

Trustee Yost offered the fol!~win~ reoolution amd moved its
adoption, RESOLVED: Whereas an error ~n the water assessment
roll. has been made, char~ing Ruby N. Wilkens with a frontage of
two lots, namely; Lots 44 and 45 Auditor's Sub 168, Lot 44 being
in error, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of
Mound, that the assessment against Lot. 44, Auditor's Sub 188 be
and is hereby cancelled, and County Auditor notified and a copy
of the resolution be ~ited to him. The motion for the adoption
of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Trustee ~arch,
and upon vote thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Yost, March, Tuff and Horton. The following against: None.
Whereupon said resolution ~a.s duly pass, ed and adopted.
Trustee Yost offered the following resolution, and moved its
adoption: RE[0LUED; Whereas an error in the water assessment
roll has been made, charging W. H. A. Koehler with a frontage of
three lots, Naz~ely, Lots 35, 36 and ~7, Auditor's Sub 188, Lots
~5 and 36 in error, there±'ore be it resolved by the Viii~e
Council of ~5ound, that the ae~,~;essment against Lots 35 and 36
Auditor's. Sub..168 be and is hereby cancelled, and the County
Auditor be notified, and a copy of this resolution be mailed to
him.
The motion for the adootion of the fore,icing resolution was duly
seconded by Trustee Harch, and upon vote thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Yost, Zarch, Tuff and Horton.

roll has been made, charging Edward E. Beise with a frontage of

error, therefore be it resolved by the Village Council of Mound
that the assessment a~ainst Lot 45, Auditor's Sub 168 be and is
hereby cancelled, and the Oounty Auditor. be notified and a.copy
of this.resolution be mailed to him.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resulution was
duly seconded by Trustee March, .and upon vote thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof. Yost, l,~arch, Tuff and Horton.

Trustee Yost offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption: RESOLVED, Whereas an error in the Water Main Assess~
men~?'r~ll has been made in charging the benefits of the South
eight feet of Lot 16, Block 2, Creviers Subdivision of $48.00
to M. E. Peterson, t~erefore be it resolved-by the Uillage
Council of Mound, Minn. that the assessment against the South
eight feet of 16 Block 2, Crevier's Subdivision, be and is
reduced to $$6.80, and the ~ounty Auditor be notified, and
authorized t5 reduce said assessment to $$6.80, and a copy of
this resolution be mailed to ~im.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Trustee March, and upon vote thereon, the
'following voted in favor thereof: Yost, March, Tuff and Horton.

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Trustee Yost offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption, RENOLVED: Whereas an error in ~,~ater Main assessment
roll has been made in charging the benefits of the North Part
of Lot 16, Block 2, Crevier's Subdivision, of $48.00 to L. D.
Hendricks, therefore, be it resolved by the Village Oouncil of
5%und, ~0~inn., that the Water main assessment against the North
part of Lot 16, Block 2, Crevier's. Subdivision, be and is hereby
reduced to $38.80, and the Oounty Auditor be notified and author-
ized to reduce said assessment to $36.80, and a copy of this
resolution be mailed to him.
The motion for the adoption of the. foregoing resolution was duly
secbnded by Trustee March, and upon vote thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: 'Yost, ~{arch, Tuff and Horton.

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Trustee Tuff offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption: RESOLVED,. Whereas, Some of the property owners in
the Village of Mound have shown a deplorable lack 'of co-operation
in cleaning up their property from limbs of trees and other
rubbish, Be It ResOlved: That the street commissioner .and
Village Counstable report such conditions to the Village .Clerk,
and that the Clerk shall notify such property owners that unless
such accumulation is removed within ten days of said notice,

same will be removed by the Village and cost of sa e will be
added to the taxes of orooerty affected. This resolution to
take effect £rom and after its adoption and the oub!ication
of sa~e in the Minnetonka Pilot.
The Motion for the fore?oing resolution was duly seconced by
Trustee Yost, and upon vote thereon, the following voted in favor

Minutes of Special ~.~eeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Mound, Hennepin
County, ~,~innesota, Held Mar. 18, 19~5
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Mound, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, was duly held in the Council Room in the
basement of the State Bank of Mound, in said Village, on the
18th day of ~arch, 19~5, at 8 o'clock P.M. The following
Trustees were present: W. E. Huestic, President, Trustees
Yost, March, Tuff and Horton. And the following were
absent: None.
The President announced that the meeting was open for the
consideration of proposed Watermain Improvement in the
Highlands, heretofore designated as Watermain Improvement
No. $, of the Village. The Clerk produced an affidavit
of publication of the notice of hearing on the proposed
Watermain Improvement showing publication thereof for two
weeks in the Einnetonka Pilot, the official newspaper of the
Village, the last publication being on March l~, 1~$5.
The President then called upon all property owners present
to appear either for ar against said proposed i~provement.
The following appeared and entered objections as follows:
