ever, one they felt they could purchase at this time.
A motion bY Trustee Tuff, that the Village puxchaee the Truck
priced at ~49.50 from the Parker & Smith Co. f~he~e being no
second to themotion, Trustee ¥ost made a motion to amend the
previous motion that the Village purchase the Finley Motors
Truck for $3S5.00, which was seconded by Trustee March, on
roll call: yays; ¥oet, March, Horton; Nays: Tuff. Whereupon
said motion was declared duly carried.

Minutes of Bpecial Meeting'of the Village Council
of the Village of Mound, Hennepin County, Minn.
Held April IS, 193S.
Pursuant to due °all and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of MoUnd, Hennepin 0odnty,
Minnesota, was duly held in the Council Room in the basement
of the State Bank of Mound in said Village on the 16th day of
April, 193§, at 8 o'clock p.m.

TrUstee Yost'introduoed the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village 0ounoil of the Village of Mound
that ~eo. R. Cole be appointed superintendent of the work on
Watermain Improvement No. 3 and be directed to cause necessary
plane and specifications for said improvement to be made and
filed with the Village Clerk. Adopted April 16, 193~5.

The motion for the adoption cf the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Trustee Marsh, a~d upon vote being taken
threon, the ~ollowing voted in favor thereof: All, Yost,
M~rch, Tuff and Horton~ and the following voted against the
same: None, whereupon said re~olution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
Trustee Yost introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
_RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE TO BIDDERS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Mound
that the plans and specifications for Watermain Improvement
No. 3 of the Village of Mound heretofore prepared by the
Superintendent of Waterworks and the Clerk and filed in the
office of the Clerk of said Village on the 16th day of April,
1955, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village COuncil shall meet at
the Council Room in the basement of the State Bank of Mound in
said Village on the Z9th day of April, 19~5, at $ o'clock p.m.
for the purpose of considering bids for the construction of
such improvement, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause notice to bidders to be given by publication at least
once in The Minnetonka Pilot in the form and manner required
by law. Also in Improvement Bulletin.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Trustee March, and upon 'vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: All. and the following
voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
A petition from the Lakeside Park association, asking the Council
to vacate certain streets in Lakeside park and Abraham Lincoln
additions as the Association owned the abbuting property, which
is low and good for agriculture purposes only, was read, and
Motion by Yost, seconded by March, that a Notice of 'Hearing for
the vacating of certain streets be published in The Minnetonkm
Pilot, and date for hearing set for the next regular meeting
to be held May 7, 1935. Motion carried.
A motion by Trustee Tuff, seconded by March, that the Treasurer
furnish the Council at each regular meeting, a statement of
receipts, disbursements and b~lances of the Sinking Fund, General
Fund and the Water Works Fund at the end of each month. Motion
Carried.
