COUNCIL~' HELD AUG 8th 1935
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,a regular meeting of the
Mound Village Council, of the Village of Mound, Hennepin County, Minn.
w~ duly held in the Council Room in the basemen~ of the S~ate B~n~ Of
Mound in said Village on the Sth day of August 1935 at 8 P.M.

Minutes of the last regular meeting and Special meeti~ were read and
approved as read.
The Application of Bert Huff, accompanied by the required fee' of $S0.00
for an OFF& ON SALE License, for the sale of Non-intoxicating Malt
Liquor was presented , and on Motion by ~ost seconded by Tuff, that
said.license be granted to Bert Huff, Motion carried.
The application of B,A.Farley a~companied by the required fee of SSO. 00
For an OFF AND ON SALE License for the sale of Non-intoxicating Malt
liquor was read , and on Motion by Yost ~econded by M~rch, that said ~
license be granted under the present Ordinance and regulations,
B.A.Fa~ley being present addressed the Council and asked that hie
application be withdrawn, which was granted, and no vote taken on his
application.
A petition presented by H.Peterson and signed by otheres, objecting to
noise and music made at the J.S.Carlson Grocery and Beer Parlor, it was
orderedreturned for more signers.
A Committee from the D.U.V. asked the Council to repair the Fountain
at the Cooke Bay Park also to have the Park cleaned up.
A motion by Tuff Seconded by March, that the road Committee and Ge0 Cole
investig&t$?and have a ditch dug on the East Line of the Major Property
a distance of about ~00 feet , to take care of the overflow from the
Culvert crossing the Town rossi from Grand View Drive , Motio~ Carried.
Motion by March sedonded by ¥ost, that the W.H.A.Koehler Water Bill
for the quarter ending June 30th 1~35 be reduced $3S.00 on account of tb
a Village Hydrant being broken, by parties unknown, and also to bb
reimbursed for the sum of five Dollars for the removal of said Hydrant,
Mot ion Carried.
A motion by Tuff seconded by Horton, that a Red Light karl shade be in-
stalled at the Anseth Corner by L.J.Bowers for the sum fo $1~.~0,
Motion carried.
A motion by Yost seconded by Horton that'the Womans Club be allowed the
sum of $30.00 for money spent in the Cooks Bay Park, Motion carried.
Mt. Miller representing The Tho~man Rosholt Co of Minneapolis Minn.,
addressed the Council in regard to a Grazier and Soa~ifier they wished
to sell to the Village . a Committee from the Council having seen the
Grazier and reported favorably on same as a Grader is needed by the
Village for keeping the roads in condition in the Village and could be
used in winter for removing snow from the roads. After eom discussion
a motion was made by Yost seconded by March, that ~he Village rent the
Grader and Scarifier for one month for the sum of $S~.00, and try it out
and see if it would do the work as represented, Motion carried.

Bills were read, and Motion by March seconded by Yost, That bills be paid
and Clerk instructed to draw warrants for same , Motion carried.
