1935-09-17 MOUND SEPT 17th 1935
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Mound, Hennepin County, State of
Minnesota, was held in the Council ~oom in the bs~ement of the State
Bank of Mound on the 14th day of Sept 1935 at 8 o'clock P~M.
Officers present; W,O.Huestis President, March, Yost, Tuff & Horton.
The President stated the meeting was called for the purpose of
fixing the Tax levy for the year 1935, and such other business that
may appe ar.
After some "discusSion , a Motion by Trustee Yost seconded by March ,
that $7000.00 be levied for the general fund and $4S0.00 for the
Poor fund for the year 1935 , collectable in the year 1936,
MOtion carried .
A motion by ¥ost seconded by March that awarrant be drawn for
$569.34 from the Bond &Interest sinking fund to the General Fund,
thereby returning money loaned the Sinking Fund, to pay the first
Interest due on Bonds and Certificates of Indebtedness,
Motion carried.
A motion by Tuff seconded by Yost, that a Warrant be drawn on the
Water' works Fund for $350.00, Which is the balance due the General
Fund on loan of $1000.00 July 5th 1934 to the Wa-ret Woffks ~und,
Motion carried.
The President then started, That Jim Hansen a resident fo the Villa~
for the last 15 years, was in extremely straightened circumstances,
and had applied for aid, in this waythat he would be willing to give
the Village a Warranty Deed for Lot $, Guilfords Reagn of Mound Bay
Park,. for an agreement with the Village to give him $15.00 per month
for Zl months(price of the Lot $350.00) the balan.ce $35.00 to be used
to pay all Taxes to date also for an Abstract for said Lot, the
difference if any to be paid to Jim HanSen.
A Motion by Trustee March seconded___b~ Yost , that the Village enter
into an agreement with Jim~ Hansen,~accept a Warranty Deed for Lot
8, ~uilfords Reagn Mound Bay Park, The Village to pay him $15.00
per month for Zl months making $315.00 , the balance of $35.00
to be used~to pay all Taxes on said Lot and .... :'~
Abstraot on said Lot 8 G'uilfords Reang of lots in Mound B~y Park,
any balanoe if any to be paid to Jim Hansen,

for the A.E.Boynton ,property and Clerk instructed to place same on record,
