32~ MinUtes of Special Meeting of the Mound Village Council, I
Held Oct 23rd 1935.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the
Mound Village Council of the Village of Wound, Hennepin County, Minn.
was held in the basement of the State Bank of Mound in said Village,
on the 23rd day of Oct 1935 at 8 o'clock P.M.,
Officers present; W.C.Huestis President , March, Tuff & Horton, Yost ~
absent.
The President stated the meeting was called to set the-time :~.fSr a hearing
for the assessment of bens fits, on the Ca~man Blvd Improvement Project
Which has been completed, and such other business which might appear.
TIME AND PLACE FOR ASSESS~ENT OF BENEFITS
Trustee March offered the following resolution and moved its adoption,
Be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Mound, that
on the 5th day of November 1835 the said Council will at the hour of
8 o'clock P.M., convene at its meetign place, when and where said
Councilwi!l hear the testimony of all persons and parties interested,
or whose property is affected by the Improvement known as the Carman
Blvd Improvement Project, which has been made in said Village.
And at said time and place, or such other time or time~: and place as
said meeting may be adjourned to, the Council will ascertain the amount
of t~he special benefits received by any and all property within said
Village by reason of the construction of the Improvement in question;
and will then and there assess each lot, part of lot or parcels .of ground
benefited thereby, ratably, and in proportion to the special benefit f~
so conferred upon i~, but not in excess thereof, ~
said notice to be printed in the Minnetonka Pilot Oct 24th 1935,
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution , was duly
seconded by Tuff, and upon vote thereon the following voted in
favor thereof; MARCH? Tuff , Horton, against same none, whereupon
~aid resolution was duly passed and adopted.
Motion by Tuff seconded by March, that the Village pay $1.00 to each
Fireman, for each fire attended, and 25cents to each ~ireman atte~nding
the regular Firemens meeting, which is held once each month,
payments to be made quartely, ~otion carried.
Motion by Trustee March seconded by Tuff that the Clerk advertise in
the Minne$onka Pilot Oct 24th 1935, FOR BIDS for a road Grader &
Scarifier 10-20 Model, New or Re-built with gas power, bids to be
opened at the next regular meeting of the Village Council Nov 5th 1935
Motion carried.

Trustee/offered the follwoing resolution and moved its adoption,
Resolved: V.~ereas an error in the assessment roll of Water Main
Improvement No 2, has been made, charging MagnUs A. Lindblad for Lot
Twenty Block Five Shirley Hills , Unit B, in error as the Water Main S
does nog pass said Lot, therefore be it resolved by the Village Council
of Mound, that the assessment against Lot Twenty Block Five Shirley Hills
Unit B, be smd hereby cancelled, and a warrant be drawn on the Water Fund
for the sum of $8.97 in fav~rof Magnus A.~.~ndblad, which has been paid
by himin 1935, and the County Auditor be Notified and a copy of this
resolution be mailed to him,
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution , was duly
seconded by March, and upon vote thereon the following voted in favor
thereof; Tuff, March, Herren, those voting against same ; none.
Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
Trustee Tuff offered the following resolution and moved its adoption,
Resolved; .~..~ereas an error in the nam. es and description on the Water
Main assessment roll fo r Lot ~leven Block two Highlands, has been made
Charging a small portion of Lot Eleven to Chas J. Regan and the large
portion to John Neems, whereas the large portion of Lot Eleven should
be charged to Chas J. Regan and the small portion to John Neems.
Therefore be it resolved that the correction be made by the Village
C!erkand said correction be mailed to the County Auditor, with a copy
of this resolution.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Trustee March, and upon vote thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof; Tuff, Ma~-ch, Ho~ton, Against same; none.
Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
No further business appearing on motion meeting adjourned.
