1935-11-05 MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE MOUND VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD NOV 5h~1935 331 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aregular meeting of the Council of the Village of Mound, Nennepin ~O~mmty, Minnesota, was held in the Council Boom in ~he ba~emon~ of ~he S~e Dank of Mount%, said Village on the 5th day of Nov. 1958, at 8 o'clock P.M. Officers present~w.C.Huestis President, Yost, ~a~h, Tuff& Minutes of l&stRegular meeting , and Special meetings were read ~ approved as read. As advertised in the Minnetonka Pilot for Bids for Rosui Grader ~nd Scarifier, Three were received and opened which are as follows; Adams & Co of Indianapolis NO 30 New $~931.50 " " " Re-Bult 1625.00 Motor Power Co St. Paul Re Built 10-BO 1400.00 T.W.Rosholt Co Minneapolis Re-Built 10-20 1100.00 Motion by Yost seconded by Horton that Geo Cole, J. Steln & R. March be appointed as a,Committee to investigate the different Graders , mi report at the next meeting, Motion carried. Applications for Building & Remodeling by F.%7.Powell, $500. O0 E.F. Bronson Remodeling ~000. O0 G. R. Clark Building a Garage $50.00 Motion by Tuff seconded by Yost that permits be granted to F.~J.Powel'l, E.F.Bronson mi G.R.Clark, Motion Carried. Motion by Yost seconded by Tuff, that Trustee March & Horton check up on all Village Insurance, Motion carried. The President ~ppointed Mfs. Smith as assistant Clerk, and C.L.Tuff and Wm Kickhafer as ~udges for the annual Election to be held Dec~-$5 Bills were read and on motion by March seconded by Yost that bills be paid and Clerk instructed to draw warrants fo sm~e, motion Carried. S0 Mound Oil Sta ~.5~ M.A.Lindblad 8.97 3~Z ASSESS~,,{ENTS OF BENEFITS The Village Council of 'the Village of Mound, met at the time and ~ pl&ce appointed in its resolution dated Oct S3rd 1935, for the purpose of ascertaining and assessing the benefits to property within said Village, conferred by the Improvements known as the Carman ~lvd Improvement Project, after hearing all testimony, by or on behalf of all persons and parties intersted, or whose property is affected by s~~Id improvement, and desiring to be heard, and being fully advised in the premises, the following resolution was offered by Trustee Yost and mmx~ moved its a~option, BE it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Mound, that the following described lots and parcels of ground are specially benefited by said improvement in the amounts of money set opposite the respective descriptions. BE it further resolved that each lot, piece or parcel of ground as herein after described is hereby assessed the amount of money set opposite it, for the special benefits conferred by the making of said improVement,descriptions of which are on file in Clerks office, and that the Clerk shall immeadiately after the adoption of this resolution transmit a certified duplicate of this resolution and said assessment to the Auditor of Hennepin County, l~innesota, to be extends on the Tax lists and to be collected, accounted for , and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. The owner of any lot, piece or parcel of groung assessed hereby mayat any time paythe whole of such assessment or suuy installment thereof with accrued interest to June following, The motion for tb~ &doptiongof the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Trustee March . . .and upon vote taken thereon the following 'voted in favor thereof; Yost, Tuff, March, Horton, against same; none. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
