The President stated the meeting w~s o~lled for the purpose of p~sing a resolution to have the State Comptroller ex,ins the books and records of the Village for the ye~ I935. Trustee March offered the roll, lng resoluti'o~ ~d moved its adoption, that~ written request be mailed to the State Co~troller asking for ~n ex~in~tion of the books ~d records, ~ooounts ~d ~ffmirs of the Vill~e of Mo~d, Hennepin Cowry, Mi~esota, for thr ye~ 1935, the Clerk secure the required signatures of the majority of the members of this Council, Certify to s~e ~d fo~.~=d to the Comptroller, the motion for the ~option of the fozegoing resolution, was duly seconded by Horton, Motion C~ried. No further ~ppeaEing on motion meeting ~ourned, ~~ .President **** PUBLIC ASSEMBLY ****DEC 3rd 1935 Pursuit to notice thereof, ~ Public Assembly of the Citizens of Mo~d held one hour before the polls opened for the ~nu~ Election, 'the' Meeting was x~led to order by H.I.Horton, the President being ~bsent, who ~ked for m Moderator, on motion duly m~e ~d c~ried, R~ph March wme elected Moderator. ~e minutes of the l~st ~nnu~ meeting wereread, and approved as re~d. Citizens ~resent; Wa Kio~er, R M~oh,Horton, Cole, Schwartz, Winkle, Reed, Br~m~, ~d Mrs Smith. The Treasurers ~d Clerks report were re~, ~d on motion by Tuff seconded by Winkle, that the Reports be placed on file, Motion carried. A Motion by Tuff seconded by Mrs. Smith,~at in the sense of this meeting, the Village Council be authorized to ~d $1000.00 to a levy of $7000.00 to take c~re of Interest ~d Bonds, prSvidedthe Cocci1 deems it neoess~F, Motion Carried. The subject of ~ B~ issue for the purpose of paying interest on present Bonds w~ discussed by Mt. Reed and Mt. Tuff.
