* * *MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD HAROH 24th 1936 * * * * *
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Mound, was held in the Council Room
March 24 th1936 at 7:50 P.M.
Officers present, W.C.Huestie President, March, ¥ost, Tuff & Horton,
The President stated the meeting was called for the purpose of decidimg
the matter of icing the Hennepin County Welfare Board for the balance
of the year 1938, or as long as the Council saw f~t to do so, and after
some disscussion, a Motion wa~ made by Yost, seconde~ by March., That
the Village of Mound enter into a Contract with the Hennepin County
Welfare Boardfor Nine months, with the understanding that the Village
can withdraw at the end of any month , by giving 15 days notice to the
Board, also provided that the amount expended does not exceed the sum
of ~1800.00 for the next nine months, Motion Carried.
A Motion by March seconded by Tuff, that ~eo,R. Cole be allowed $30.00
for extra work and expense for the months of Jan'y, Feb & March 1938
Motion Carried.
