Pursuant to due call and notice thereof~ the regular
Meeting of the Mound Village Council was held in their Council
Room the End day of June 1936 at 8 P.M.
Officers present: %V. C. Huestis~ Preside~, Trustees Yost,
~arch, Tul'f & Horton.
The Minutes of the last regular meeting and Special
Meeting of May 15th, 1936 were read~ and approved as read.
A petition for an Electric Light at the Corner of Highway
ll0 and 44 was read~
Motion by Horton Seconded by Yost, that Trustee ~rch investigate
the cost of Light per year at above corner~
Motion carried.
Petition i'or Oiling Roads West oi' School House was referred
back to th~ Signers.
Motion by Horton Seconded by March, that the P.L. & P.D.
Policy #1S229S exp~ing June 27th on Fire Truck be renewed, al~o
F~-e Insurance on the Siren~ Flags and equipment for $~00.00
be renewed~
Motion carried.
Motion by Horton. Seconded by~March~ that Harlin & Westerlund
renew P.L. & P.D. Insurance on the Village Ford Truck~
Motion carried.
Application of Mrs. Ruth Aldrich for peEuit to remodel her
Cottages, .approsimately $600.00~ was read, smid on Motion by
March, seconded by Yost~ that ~rmit be granted to ~s. Ruth
A~ rich,
Motion carried.
A committee from the Excelsior Fire Department, to explain
the bill cz $48.00 for attending a fire call phoned was laid
over until next meeting.
Motion by March~ seconded by Horton~ that Trustee Yost
find out the legal aspects oi' l~vingWaterMain No. 4.
Motion carried.
Mo%ion by~ar~ , Seconded by Horton, that the C~ rk notify
Hopkins Rel~ f Office~ that Mound withdraws from the Welfare Board
for the present to take effect June 1Sth~ 19~6.
Motion carried.
~fotionbyYost, Seconded by Tu~f, that Pinball License be
granted to Mrs. I. E. O'Neill for one year, July lst~ 19S6~ to
July lst~ 19S7~ and a license be granted to l~s. West, ~or two
Pinball ~chi~ s~ provided however she pays the balance due for
said license by the 1st day of July~ 19S6.

Presiderm stated the meetmng was calm d f~' the purpose o~' I~ssing
on the applications for OFF & ON SALE Licneses~ and such other Ousiness
as might come up before the Council.
Application from A. C. Tibbetts for buiidlng permit~ was presented
to the Councii~ and on ~,~Iotion by ~,[arch seconded by Yost that pe~,~mit
be grm~ted to A. C. Tibbetts~ 1,2otion Carried.
Application for permit for remodeling his home by R. Rondorf was
read and on llotion by March seconded by Tuff that permit De granted~
