Village Council was held Xn their Council Room , on the 6th day of Oct
1936~ at 8:00 P.M..

Minutes of last regular ,qeet~ng were read, and approved as read.
A motion By ~a£f Trustee Yost seconded by Trustee Tuff, that the
Village Council levy the following amounts for the year 19S6~ payal~le
in the year 19S7, General Fund $9000.00
Poor Fund 480, 00
Motion Carried.
A motion by Trustee Tuft seconded by Yost, that $600.00 be transi'ered
from the Water Fund to the General Fund, to pay half of 19S6 salary
for J.C.Stein Motion Carried.
Application of Anna L.Jenkins for building permit , to build an
addition to net house also a cnxcken house , Motion by Yost seconded
by .Tu±'f that permit be granted to ~mna L. Jenkins, Motion Carried.
Letter from Mrs Wnmpple or the County Welrare Board ~ regard~ngW. P.A.
new regulatXons, after some d~scussion, motion was made by Yost seconded
by Horton, that the President and Clerk be authorized to sign W.P.A.
Certir~cat~on for the following; Tom Ko[~an~ Dell Coy, Fred Hoerer,
Chas Beise, Louis Hoerer~ Emward Schwartz and Wm Oestrlcn~
Motion carried.
Motion by TuI'r seconded by Yost, that the next Regular Meeting or the
Village Council be held Nov £0t~ 19S6, on account or General Electlon
comming on the 3rd oi' NovemOer Motion Carried.
The Presmdent appointed Clerks and. Judges ror the comming Election,
Mrs Smith and Mrs Harstad, as ClerKs and C.L. TUFF, Cnas Hoyt and
Wm K~c~narer as Judges.

MINUTES OF ~HE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MOUND
VIT3.AGE COUNCIL, H~,n NOVEMBER lOth 1936
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof~ the regular monthly meeting
of the Mound Village Council , was held in their Council Room, in said
Village on the 10th day of Nov 1936~ at 8:00 P.M..
Officers present; W.C.Huestis President~ Yost~ M~rch~ Tuff & Horton.
Minutes of the last regular meetingwere read and approved as read.
A Petition , filed with the Clerk Oct 2oth 1936, signed by 26 Legal
Voters in the Village of Mound, That the question of whether or not
the said Village , shall grant a License or Licenses for the sale
of intoxicating L;quor, be submitted for the determination at the
next Village Election, on the 1st Tuesday after the first Monday
in December 1936, and that the said Village Recorder give Notice to
that effect as provided by law,
The Recorder was ordered to have Ballots printed for said Election,
and have the required notice printed and posted.
Application for permit to add to present home by 01afOrneside, Lots
3 & ~ Blk 3-Shirley Hills Unit B, cost to be about $800.00, was read
and on Motion by Yost seconded by Matrch, that said Permit be gramted
to 01af 0rneside, Motion Carried.
Application for permit to Build a Church , located on Main Street~ by
the St.Johns Engltsh Evangelical Luthern Church, approximate cost
$10,000.00 , Motion by March seconded by Yost that said Permit
be granted, Motion Carried.
A Petition submitted by the Lakeside Park Association, asking that
Laurel St between Block One & Two and service roads, Re Arrangement
of Bloc~ Ten Abraham Lincoln Addition to Lakeside Park be Vacated,
A Motion By Yost seconded by March that Notice of hearing be published
in the Minnetonka Pilot~ said hearing to be at the next regular
meeting to be held Dec 1st 1936, Motion Carried.
