MINUTES OF ~HE REGULAR ME. ETING OF THE MOUND
VIfJ,AGE COUNCIL, H~,~.D NOVEMBER 10th 1936
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular monthly meeting
of the Mound Village Council , was held in their Council Room, in said
Village on the 10th day of Nov 1936, at 8:00 P.M..
Officers present; W.C.Huestis President, Yost, March, Tuff & Horton.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
A Petition , filed with the Clerk Oct 2oth 1936, signed by 26 Legal
Voters in the Village of Mound, That the question of whether or not
the said Village , shall grant a License or Licenses for the sale
of intoxicating L~quor, be submitted for the determination at the
next Village Election, on the 1st Tuesday after the first Monday
in December 1936, and that the said Village Recorder give Notice to
that effect as provided by law,
The Recorder was ordered to have Ballots printed for said Election,
and have the required notice printed and posted.
Application for permit to add to present home by 01af 0rneside, Lots
S & 4 Blk S-Shirley Hills Unit B, cost to be about $800.00, was read
and on Motion by Yost seconded by Matrch, that said Permit be gramted
to Olaf Orneside, Motion Carried.
Application for permit to Build a Church , located on Main Street, by
the St.Johns English Evangelical Luthern Church, approximate cost
$10,000.00 , Motion by March seconded by Yost that said Permit
be granted, Motion Carried.
A Petition submitted by the Lakeside Park Association, asking that
Laurel St between Block One & Two and service roads, Re Arrangement
of Bloc~ Ten Abraham Lincoln Addition to Lakeside Park be Vacated,
A Motion By Yost seconded by March that Notice of hearing be published
in the Minnetonka Pilot, said hearing to be at the next regular
meeting to be held Dec 1st 1936, Motion Carried.
