Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular meetxng
of the Village Council of Hound was held in their Council Room,
on the &th day of Jan'y 1937 at 8:00 P.M. .
Officers present ; W.C.Huestis President, March, Yost, Tuff & Horton.
Minutes of the last regular meeting and the Special ~eeting of
Dec 10th-S6 were read and approved as read.
The Newly Elected Officers for the year 19~7 & ~8, have all signed
the Oath of Office, and the Bond for the Justice of the Peace,
M.J.Smith, signed by F.O.Major and August Brockert was presented to
the Council, and on Motion by Most seconded by March that said
Bond be accepted , Motion Carried.
TheBond of George R. Cole Constable, signed by R.S.Thompson &
G.F.Broeckert, was presented, and on Motion by March seconded by
Most, that said Bond be accepted , Motlon CErried.
Motion by March seconded by Yost, that provided 0. F.Jansen sign
an Application for an OFF & ON SALE License of Non-Intoxicating
Malt with the required Fee Jan'y 6th-37, he may operate until
the Co;mcil acts on said Application,
Motion Carried.
Motion By Most seconded by March, that Dr.J.P.Wilkins be appointed
Health Officer for the year Of 1927, for the Village of Mound~
Motion Carried.
Motion by Most Seconded by Tuff, that the Agreement of the Hennepin
County Welfare Board be laid on the table, Motion Carried.
~otion by March seconded by Tuff, that the State Bank of Mound
bedesignated as the.depository for the Village Funds for the year
1937,
Motion Carried.
Motion by Most seconded byMarch, that the Clerk have the Lots
27-28-29-30 - Lynwold Park, surveyed as per agreement with
W.H.A. Koehler as per motion duly made and carried Feb 4th 1930,
Motion Carried.
Motion by Most seconde~ by March, that an agreement be ~rawn by
the Clerk, to be presented to the School Board of D:Lstrzct #Sb,
for their consideration for the property known as the Athletic
Field adjoining the High School ground for the sum of $1950.00,
Roll call; Mays Most, March, Tuff & Horton Nays;none;
Motion Carried
The bills were read, and on ~otion by Tuff seconded by March,
That the bills be paid and the Clerk draw warrants for same,
Motion Carried.
