Pursuant to due call and notlce thereof the regular meeti of
the Mound Village Council, was held in their council room on the
2nd ~ay of Feb 1936, at 8: P.M.
Officers present; W.C.Huestis President, Trustees Yost, March,
Tuff ~ Horton.
The Minutes of the last regular meeting and the Special of Jan'y
2bth 1937 were read and approved as read~ by Motion duly made a~nd
c arri e d.
The propsoed Ordinance providing for the establishment of a Volunteer
FireDepartment, and makir~g rules and Regulatfons for the Government
of same , fas given the third reading, and v:as to be knovm as
Ordinance # ~8.

The Village Council of F_ound , do ordain as follows: Ordinance[/~.~
(Duly passed and published in the I.[irmetonka Pilot Feb. llth i~?.
Motion by Yost seconded by Tufl°~That the Chief of the Fire Dep~rtment
and the Fire Marshall office be combined~ the A~sistant Chief
to serve in the absence of the Chief~ ~totlon Carrled.
Trustee Yost offered the follorir~ Resolution and moved its adoption
Resolved that the Villsge Council of the Villsge of Mound,
establisha ~nlcipal Liquor Store about Idarcg 15~ 1937
The i~iotlon for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Trustee Tuff; and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Yost, Tuff~ March & Horton~
agaf. nst same ~none, V~ereu~on said resolution wasdeclared duly
massed and adopted.
The President appointed the Council as a whole , to act on the
L~.unicipal Liquor Store, v~th F.Yost as Chairman.
