1937-03-09Minutes of Special ~'eeting of the Mound Village Council held March 9th 1937 at 8:00 P~M. 371 ~urSuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the Mound Village Council was held in their Council Room, Tuesday March 9th 1937, at 8:00P.M. March,Yost Tuff & Horton. Officers present; W.C.~uestis- President, , The President stated that the Meeting was called for the,purp?se of considering the Application of O.F.Jensen for OFF & ON ~ Lmcenses for Non-lntoxicating Malt Liquor, and such other business that might appear. After considerable disscusion, a Motion was made by Horton seconded by Yost, That Licenses be granted to O.F.Jensen until July 1st 1937, On roll call ;YaysM-arch~ Yost, Tuff & Horton, Nays; none, Motion Carried. Horton offered the following and moved its adoption, Resolved that after July 1st 1937, No Licnese for OFF & ON Sale of Non- Intoxicating Malt Liquor, be granted to any applicant, to operate on the propert~ located on Lot 63 Auditors Sub-division number 169 Village of Mound, The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Trustee March, and upon being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; Horton, March & Yost, against same Trustee Tuff, Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Trustee Tuff offered the following Resolution, and moved its adoption Whereas, Annie M.McDonald has paid the balance in full for Special Assessment for Water Main, due for the years 1936 to 19~4 inclusive on Lots 14 & 18 Block 2 Highlands, Village of Mound,$12S.60, Therefore be it Reaolved; That the Village Recorder instruct the Auditor of Hennepin County, to strike off the assessment roll on file in his officethe particular described assessment against Lots 14 & 15 Block 2 Highlands, in the Village of Mound, for the Payments due in the years 1936 to 1984 inclusive, and a Certified Copy of th~ Resolution be mailed to the Auditor of Hennepin County, The Motion for the~option of the foregoing Reso~utig~ was du~ seconded byTruste~arch, and upon vote beir~, t..a~e~ p~re~n, mne following voted in favor thereof$ Tuff, March, ~es~ Against same; none.
