1938-03-22 4O5 SPECIAL ~MEETING OF THE ~fOUND VILLAGE ffOUNCIL HELD Mar. 22, 1938. Hesponding %0 roll call were 5~ayor Huestis, trustees Yos%, l~uff, and Winkel, and Alwtn. The purpose of the meeting' was to consider road and other work to be Blue printed as Federal relief pro3ee%s. By general agreement without motion it was ¢onclude~ that street extensions and improvements were %o proceed along Church ~tre6t, 5~aple and ~Morgan Avenues, and adjacent street, s, all .within the Koehler, Abrah~m Lincoln, and Lakeside Park Divisions. Further, that similar work on streets was to be carried on on the Highlands, the exact details of Which were to be developed by surveys and blueprints. Interest in water main extensions to improve the present set-up lay between runnin~+a 6" radius from the tower to connect up with the 4" termlnatin~/~the the home of Evan Jones, thus loop- ing the system, and the erection of a new 50,000 gal. tower on the Highlands as suggested by Trustee Frank Yos%. This matter was postponed for later consideration. Disc~ussion also included the purchase by the village of lots longside and east of the village storage garage and lot 15 of Aud. Sub. ~170, all owned by W. H. A. Koehler. These lots were to be taken in exchange for a village-owned lot in the Gilford Add. on Lake Langdon purchased from Jim Hanson. It was also suggested ~ha% the village acquire the adjoining channel lot, which, it was pre- sumed, could be had for taxes. Mayor Huestis agreed to contact C. H. Sanb~'~ surveying, detailing, and blueprinting the street pro~ects, also to see M~. W. H. ^. Koehler about the lot exchange. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. Pre s Ident
