This meeting convened at the ~!ound Hardware °~tore at ~ P. ~5. to
consider appointments to the Board of Election to serve at the
~pecial Election to be held ~.Tay 27th, 1940. Responding to roll-
cell were ~ayor J. C. Krause, Trustees P. F. Winkel snd C. R. Ferrsll,
with Alwin as Clerk-Re~order. Trustee Jones was absent.
Following discussion, t.~e following, appointees were epproved by
the council and authorized by the ~ayor:
For Judges of Election:

Wm. Kickhafer, Sr.,
J. $. Adams.
For Clerks of Election:
Edna Gooder,
LeRoy V. Alwin.
Ac.ordlng to legal snd customery orocedure, the above were to
be notified by letter at least ten days before the election.
