The minutes of the ~revlous meeting having been re~d pnd s~roved, Tru,~te~ Jones presented Anchor Casualty Co. Dollcies covering Bubllc Liability for the ~!llls, ge and for the Lfcuor qtore, and moved that ~,ll]s~_e Public Liability coverage be extended to include the vil~ club house ~nd the p~rk; this ~t ~n ~dditton~l cost. of ~33.60. Potb contracts were covered by removal permits ~nd a provision for rebates ~fter ~ chon~e in status of the building. Accompanyin? the oollcies were authorizations to refund to Ole F. Jensen the unused portion~ of pre~lum~ o~Id ~nd that h~d been ~ssigned to the village, ~. e., ~14.23 ~nd S7.63 respectively. The council next g~ve its attention to the ore~entstlons of ~{r. Irwin ~,~slskousky and ~r. C. J. ~illion of the ~!trea~er Lumber with reference to the need of a ~uildlng Code Law for the Village covering building construction, plumbing, he~ting, mond electrical work, and also with an eye to .~_etting up restricted ~re~s tending to equalize the types of homes of ~ny given district. '~r. ~illlon a~reelng to provide the material to serve ss ~ b~sls for ~uch ~ law, Tru=te~-'J6n~'s~ moved that the council proceed along these lines .?nd that ~n invitation be extended to ~ll building contractors to ~eet with the council at an adjourned meeting dated for ~ept. 17th for the ourpo~e of con~lderln~ ~nd writing such ~ law. Alwin seconding this motion, the council voted its agreement. After s discus°ion of circumstances stt~nding the ~oving of the Cook'~ Ray Tavern, Trust~,e Jones moved that the clerk be authorized to put ~'ovlng Contractor ?f. F. Krsu~e under bond in the sum of $1,000.00 ~nd at village expense. Or, finding thi~ In~deau~te, to provide insurance coverage for ~ny damage to the building. Alwin agreeing in this, the council ~tood- unonlmou? in its approval. On motion by Trustee B. ?. V~inkel, the clerk w~ authorized to write Superintendent J. H. 9tatts to investigate the proportion of frontage represented in s petition for a water m~in extension on Rawlins Ave. Jones supported thin motion, the council concurring. The clerk was also authorized to write iV.P.A. Engineer M. A. Turnhsm to retain lfr. Jack Perry to supervise the. i7. p. A. remodeling project of the village club house. Also, that the village purchsse Lot 15, Aud&to~s Subdivision #170, in the Village of ?ound, for the purpose of locating a sewage disposal plant. And in 8s much as, in a.n aopralsaI, it has been agreed upon, as between this village and the Auditor of Henneoln, that value for this land should be set at $100.00, therefore ~M IT FLrRTHm. R RESOLVED that the clerk be authorized to issue s village w~rrent~in th- sum of $1OO.O0 to the Auditor of Hennepin County i'n exchange for a State Deed to the land in ouestion.
