VILLAGE OF MOUND
Trustee ~ondorf presented the fo!lowing resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLVED that the ~eneral tax levy for the V llla~e of
?~ound, and for the year 1944~ shall total in the sum of $10t000.O0~
same to be certified to the ~ounty Auditor and subdivided amon~
t.~e various villase funds according to their legal mill rate·

reso].ution, the vote of the council stood unanimous. ~:nd so the
resolution stood adooted.
As its part in the 3rd War Loan Bond Drive, Trustee ~. ~. Newcomb
moved that the village of !\,~ound dr~w f~om its liquor fund and
purchase five United States Treasury ~onds of the 1~51-53 denomina-
tion, and yielding 2?° inter,s% to bearer; each bond 'being in the
sum of ~l,O00.O0, thus totalling $5,000·00 for the entire investment.
