wes to be paid $1.50 for cometary work.

seconded this motion, the council carrying. I
Trustee Newcomb moved to accept Mayor's recommendation to a~point

MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR ~FTING OF THE MOLND VILLAGE COUNCIL
RECONV~?ED FROM June 6th, 1944.
P~esent at this meeting were }~ayor Louise Huestis, Trustees Rondorf,
Newcomb and Broecker%, with Alvin recording.
· l'he meeting epened with a motion by ~ondorf, Oroeckert supporting,
to renew the centract with the interstate Fewer ~o.! to supply electric
energy to the village of mound at acceptable rates,! end, also, %o renew
the contract for the supplying of current I'or 'ch, i[lumlnstlon of
village streets, the specially prepared detail of which appears here
as s~n insertion te these minutes. ~% was implied b~ this motion
that the ~ayor and clerk were to sign the n~cessaryi instruments 'co, the
the contract. 'l'he whole of ibis met with council a~proval.
J. ~. Adams ap.oeared before the council to receive als appointment
as village Marshal, sase to take effect as of J~uly 1st, 1944. also.,
to receive instructions with refer.nee to. his duties ~nd ecuipment.
H. J. Rondorf presented the following Hesolution es'tablishing ~he
grades of the streets and avenues of the vilI$.ge of Mound ~nd moved
its adoption, to. wit:
WHEREAS a grade line survey has b~en mad~ of the streets ~nd
~venues of the Village of _~ound by ~. H. Bradley, ~'ineer.
Therefore be it resolved by the couacil of the ~illage of
~o, und that the grades of the several streets snd a~nues are
established at the lines designated on said grade line survey
prepared by S. H. ~radley, Engineer, a copy of which survey is
attac~ed a. nd made a ~art of this resolution as fully as if set ou~
here in full.
Passed by thee council this 12th Day of June, 19~.
