The co.ell listened to the report of Harold Nlcklsch coverlng the
Alley turntabl~ in back of Lota ~8 to ~6, inclusive, S&L ~venswood
at Seton. According to Nlckisch,County records showed thls turn-
table to be llsted a~ Lot ~9. 0n the strength of this report, the
'~counc11 refused to Approve a list of t~ dellnquent l~d,~ubmltted
by the Cowry Land Co~lsaloner ~d which lncluded thls Lot ~9."
The clerk was lnst~cted to confer wlth the County on the lsaue.
Covering the controversial issue of the location of a new home on
Lots 9&lO, blk. 14, The Highlands, and concerning which Raymond
Bruhn was making application for a building permit, it was finally
moved by Alwin, Newcomb supporting, that the contemplated B.~r~
dwelling be located 65 feet back from the street line and ~_eet
South of the North line of Lot 9. T his was after a repo~ from
the Zoning Board recommended a 60-foot setback from a contemplated
47 feet. This was all the setback the Zoning Board could recommend
under the Zoning Law. T he above motion was carried by the council.

High~ands, it was moved by Rondorf that the same be approved.
This motion was seconded by Newcomb, the council concurring.
Complete plats being presented, by Arleigh Smith, Engineer, covering
the new subdivision to the village to be k-uown as Oarlsons
Addition to Shirley Hills, the council expressed itself as willing
to approve the new addition if the layout and widthr of the
proposed streets would be acceptable to the Village Street
Comm~[ttee. On this groun.d the matter was tabled for la,ter action.

On a motion by Newcomb, Alwin supporting, the council voted $300.00
to be paid to the Upper Tonka Civic Council, Inc., such amount to
be used in connection with the advancement of local recreational
wo rl~.
Rondorf moved that the Upper Tonka Civic Club have the use of the
Park Pavilion for the season of 1946. Broeckert seconded this motion,
the council concurring.
Attorney Eden A. Hendricks repo~ted legal approval covering all
of the petitions for water main extensions that had been placed in
~ ...... his hands,i.e., Highland Ave., Tuller Ave., Baptist Assembly Ground,
and Dutch Lake.
Th~ above business concluded, the meeting adjourned with the condition
that it was to reconvene at an adjourned regular meeting to be held
on Friday, Nay 24, 1946, at 8 o~clock P. N., such meeting to be open
to a public hearing covering the above, affici~lly authorized water
main exten[~ons,the nature of which-wa~ to be advertised in the
Minnetonka Pilot of Nay 9th, 194~.
