by RondorC the maiter was postponed for. a. 90~day. trial before
aetio~ by, the couse!l. Bro. eckert supported, this motion,, the
council agr~eing~..
Assls~snt Fir~ Chief Andy Farness reque~ied p~chase by the
village of the trailer pump o-f which t~e Fire Dept. onn~
oossession; the whole, wlih accessories, to cost no more than
~3~ odd dollars. It was moved by Rondorf that the mstter b~
contingent upo~ a majority vote of Ihs. Fire Depl.

of ~nald Painter ~o open up Morgan Ave. In L~kesld~ Park on
the g~ound that too much of the frontage w~s State owne~,h~rd
to converl to satisfactory private ownership, hence weak In
~ecau~e off ~he cos~ and the present s~atus of the Road Fund.
On a ~otion by Broeckert, Rondorf seconding, the council aooroved
flnan~lal reo°rts covering the .village and w. ater .dept .for August
and read by the clerk.

By general council agreement, the clerk was authorized to certify for
tax collections, for the year 1947, the same amounts that were certi-
fied for the year 1946, i. e., $8,000 for the. General Fund, $4,000
for the Road Fund, and $D80.00 for Firemen's relief.
