MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MOUND VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD
Monday~ April 26th, at 8 P. M.
Present at this meeting were Councilmen Newcomb, Pierce and Winkel,
and Village Attorney Herbert E. Wolner.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and. approve a resolution
prepared and presented by the Land Commissioner for the purpose .
of authorizing the sale of State-owned non-conservation land located
within the limits of the Village of Mound, and to take steps toward
establishing a policy for village road or street improvement.
With reference to the care of village street s, Newcomb presented
the following resolution and moved its adoption:

That the Council of the Village of ~{ound
a minimum of $5,000.00 in the Village Road Improvement Fund for
the purpose of building, .imprOving, and maintaining Village
streetsduring the current Spring and Summer, OP
A$tetR~wAm~ det ermined.
The-motion being ~for the adoption of the above r. esolution, and it
being seconded by Pierce, the vote of the council stood as follows:
Yeas, Newcomb. Pierce, and Winkel.. Nays, None. And so the
resolut, ion stood adopted.
On a motion by Winkel, seconded by Pierce, the council authorized
the Clerk to advertise for bids on the delivery of 500 Cubic Yards,
more or less, of Road Gravel.~ Such advertisement to appear in the
April 29th issue of th~ MinnetOnka Pilot, and the ~eception of bids to
be set as of May 15th at an adJgurned Regular ~Neeting %obbe~gin
at 3 P. M.
after a dkscussion of village road expense and the &isP~sition
of the village park during the approaching sun, her season, the
meeting adjourned.
