MINUTES OF Tkq~ MEETING OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW OF THE VILLAGE

A. M. TO 5 P. M.
Presemt forming the Board were moralizers of the Vlllagd Council
in the persons of William I. Davis', M'ayor, Councilmen Newcomb,
Pierce an~ Winkel, with Alwin as recorder. Present also with
his records was Village Assessor F. P. Leekley.
The ~a~was spent in a review, item by item, of all properties
within the village and their respe~tive assessment levies and
the Board found a complete coverage of wvery item of property.
There Was but one piece of property which, in the Judgement of
the Board, had been over-essessed; this was the property of
David H. Nelll, i. e., Lot 12, Blk. 6, T~e Highlands, which was
adjusted downwards from a valuation of $580.00 to $360.00.
The Board heard other appeals, namely, those of N. E. Pardee and
wife with reference to water main levies and other taxes against
lots in A. L. Crocker's 1st Division of ~akeside Park. The Boars
authorized no adjustments here; however, it was agreed to adjourn
the meeting %o July 9th, 1948, at 8 ?. M. to resume hearings
with reference to tax adjustments.
The meeting adjourned at 5 P. M.
