E: ,(Or"tim'¢s legally required), at the usual polling place, to vote on the following propo sit ion: "Shall ~ptional Plan B, providing for the Council-Manager form of village government, be adopted for the government of the · V-i.l.l~e. -" RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Village Clerk prepare t,he necessary ballots and tally sheets, give ten days posted and one week's published notice, and arrange ~ther details necessary for the election. MINUTES OF ~EET~G OF THE VIZLAGE OOUNOIZ Q~ NCUND, MINNESOTA 2ursuant to due notice a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mound, Minnesota was duly held at the Olerk's Office in said Village on ~~~ , the../. ,. day of October, 1949, at //,'~0 o'clock in the ~_/ .~ noon. The following members were present,.· Mayor, Vlm. I. Davis, and trustees Gene White, Bernard Winkel and Raymond Pierce, and the clerk, I~Roy v. Alwin, and none were absent. The clerk reported that ape tition had been filed for the annexation of certain land to the Village of Mound under authority of the provisions of Section 412.041, Subdivision 4, of Minnesot~ Statates, as presently existing, that the petition was in all respects proper; and that it was signed by all the owners of the land proposed to be annexed. The matter of whether or not the annexation would be the best interests of the Village of Mound smd of the territory affected was duly considered, and all present agreed that the annexation would be in the best interests of the Village of Mound and of the territory affected. Trustee White introduced the following Ordinance and moved its adoption: AN ORDINANCE ANNEX~G LANDS TO ~ VIT,T, AGE OF MOUND. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Ordinance was duly seconded by Trustee .':,.~~,, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Wm. I. Davis, Gene White. Bernard Winkel, Raymond Pierce and ZeRoy V. Alw~n; and none voted against the same. whereupon said resolution and ordinance was declared duly passed and adopted; a~d the clerk was directed to forthwith comply with the law for the making effective said annexation.
