MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ~0UND VILLAGE COUNCIL
Held December 01st,1949.
The purpose of the meeting was to offer the position of Village
Nanager to ~;.r. Harry Martin and to consider such other business
as might be brougdlt before it.
Present at the meeting was a full council in the persons of
W. I. Davis, }~ayor, and councilmen Pierce, White, Winkel, and Alwin.
The meeting convened at i P. N.
After lengthy discussion Councilman Gene V~hite presented the follow-
ing resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLVED THAT the Village Council offer to I,J~r. Harry ~artin of
I¥%~md the position of Village I~anager at a salary of $4,000.00
per annum with the request that ~r. }~artin present his acceptance
or rejection at the Regular Meeting of the CouScil to be held
January Srd, 1950, beginning at 8 P. N.
Alwin seconding the motion of adoption, the vote of the council
stood as follows: Yeas, Pierce, White, Winkel, and Alwin.
Nays, None. And so the resolution stood adopted.
There being no other business and the purpose of the meeting
having been fulfilled, it was declared adjourned to reconvene
on Tuesday, January ~rd, 1~80, at 8 P. N.
