MOUND HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
DECEMBER 18, 2006
The Mound Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Mound,
Minnesota, met in special session on Monday, December 18, 2006, at 6:30 p.m.
in the council chambers of city hall.
Members present: Chair Pat Meisel; Commissioners David Osmek, Mike
Specht, John Beise.
Members absent: Commissioner Bob Brown
Others Present: Executive Director Kandis Hanson, City Clerk Bonnie Ritter,
Community Development Director Sarah Smith, City Planner Bruce Chamberlain,
Chuck Alcon, David Newman, Tom Stokes, Cheryl Martin, Bruce & Patti Dodds,
Paula Larson, Mark Hanus, Amanda Schwarze, Geoff Michael, Becky Glister,
Orv Burma, Greg and Janie Skinner,
1. Call meeting to order
Chair Meisel called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Chair Meisel stepped down and Acting Chair Osmek presided over the next item.
2. Update MHRD
Dave Newman presented the proposed first stage of development for the
Auditor's Road District. Welch Properties is working on the commercial portion of
this development. Steve Stecker, Manager of New Site Development for Welch
Properties reviewed the proposed site plan for Phase 1, followed by a schematic
elevation sketch for the restaurant building.
The Council had no questions and agreed with the concepts presented. The
meeting turned back over the Chair Meisel
3. Adjourn
MOTION by Beise, seconded by Specht to adjourn at 6:47 p.m. All voted in
favor. Motion carried.
