1997-06-10/'"~ MOUND HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY 2020 COMMERCE BLVD MOUND, MN 55364 MINUTES OF JUNE 10, 1997 The meeting was called to order by chairperson, Bob Polston at 7:OOPM in the council chambers of Mound City Hall. In attendance were the following: Mark Hanus, Leah Weycker, Liz Jensen, Bob Polston and Pinky Charon and Pauline Payne. Andrea Ahrens was absent. The first item of business was the approval of the consent agenda which included the minutes of the May 13, 1997 meeting and a list of bills totaling $ 12,838.20. A motion to approve was made by Liz and seconded by Leah. The motion was called and passed unanimously. The next item of business was discussion of Mound HRA's operating reserve. The r,'- housing authority collects about $ 8,000 per month and spends about $ 10,000. At the current rate of expenses, in about three months there will not be enough money in the bank to pay the bills. Bob made a motion to direct the city staff to help find some additional funds available to Housing Authorities. Liz seconded the motion. The motion was called and passed unanimously. The next item of business was the 10/1/97 to 9/30/98 budget for Mound HRA. A motion to accept was made by Mark and seconded by Leah. The motion was called and passed unanimously. The next item of business was resolution 97-3 "Making the mayor and acting mayor the chairperson and vice chairperson of the Mound HRA. A motion to accept was made by Mark and seconded by Leah. The motion was called and passed unanimously. A motion to adjourn was made by Liz and seconded by Mark. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45PM.
