Livingston moved, Wenkstern seconded, and it was unanimously carried to transfer ~23,000 from Project ~14 to the P.I.~. Fund. Livingston moved, ?ierce seconded, and it ~ms unanimously carried that the i~210 received in Extension #12~ be transferred to the P.I.~. Pmnd, ~ij200 being the amo~nt of t½e loan and the ~i;10 to go as interest on the loan. It is the will of t~e Co~mcil to reinvest P.I.R. money possibly in two Certificates of Deposit of ~,000 each, provided the~ could be called out again on 30 days' notice or thereabouts. Mr. Leikvold is to check. The Mayor read a letter received from the District #85 P.T.A. on Hennepin County Nmrsing Service. The Council requested the Manager acknowledge receipt of the letter and invite a representa- tion from their group to visit any Council Meeting at which time the Comncil could present the series of events that led mp to their decision not to participate in the Rmral Hennepin Nursing Association. The Manager presented a petition from the skaters at Seton. T~e Council requested the Manager to acknowledge receipt of it. Pierce moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to raise t~e wages of the street men (Platzer and Stein) to ~2~0 per month. Upon receipt of the following rates of fare from Ferd. Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Pierce, Livingston. and Wenkstern, and Manager Leikvold. ' The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 5, 1953 and Adjourned Regular Meetings of January 12 and January 19 were read. Livingston moved to ammend the minutes on the Adoption of the Budget under General Fund, Personal Services, to read $5,780 in place of $5,880; and Other Expenses to read $8,050 in place of $7,950. Wenkstern seconded, and it was passed unanimously. Pierce moved to accept the minutes as amended. Livingston seconded, and it was passed unanimously.
