MINUTES OF ADJOURNED R~GULAR .MEETING, August 17, 19~
Meeting called to order at the Village Park at 8:00 P.M. Present
were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Litts, Wenkstern, Pierce and Livingston,
and Manager Leikvold.
The purpose of the meeting was to start action on the 19~4
Budget. No formal actions were tsken.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M. to reconvene August 2~th.

MINUTES OF ~ ~
Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Village Park Pavilion.
Present were Mayor Beb~mler, Trustees Litts, Wenkstern, Pierce and
Livingston, and Manager Leikvold.
A public hearing was held on the Rural Hennepin County Nursing
Service. Mrs. 0berdeck and Miss Law spoke in favor of joining the
Nursing Service. Miss Hovde, the director of the Nursing SerFice,
explained what the organization did and answered some questions.
Mr. Kopperud, a representative of the American Legion, Byrsn Nygaard,
Present of the P.T.&. and Mrs. David of the Catholic Parents Associ-
ation, all urged the Council to join the Nursing Service. No vote
was taken as Trustee Pierce wanted more time to study the Nursing
SerVice. The Council directed the Manager to check to see if the
Nursing Service fiscal year is the same as that of the Village.
Leighton Lindlan spoke about the drainage problem in the
vicinity of Chapman Avenue and Highway 110. The Council directed
the M~ager to look into the situation and report back.
The Village Insurance Program was discussed at some length.
Pierce offered the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED that the David Agency, Inc. be appointed
insmrance broker for the Village until January 1, 19~4-
Trustee Litts seconded the resOlution and the vote in favor

meeting was adjourned at 11:00 P.N. to be reconved ~ugust 25,

Livingston moved, Lit:ts seconded, and it was unanimously carried
to f~ves~ ~3,000 of the Poor Fund in a 6-mo. Certificate of Deposit.

M'~eting called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Pavilion.
Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Pierce & Wenkstern, Attorney
Bonham and Manager Leikvold. Trustees Livinmston and Litts out
of town. About thirty citizens were also present.
Minutes of the regular .~eeting of August 10, 19~3 were read.
Pierce moved, Litts seconded and it was unanimously carried to
approve the minutes as read.
