1954-01-25vote, the Manager's appointment of Bonham & Kavanagh as Village Attorneys was approved. ASSESSOR On resolution by Litts, seconded by Livingston and unanimous vote, the offices of Village Manager and Village Assessor were combined. SHIRLEY HIIL S SEWER A letter was received from the Superzntendent and Business Manager of School District #85 relative to the sanitary disposal situation at the Shirley Hills Elementary School. The Cot%ncil read the letter and ordered it filed. FIR~MEN' S R~IEF ASSOCIATION The Mayor reported that the Firemen,s Relief Association met on January 7, 1954. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M. to reconvene at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 1954. Vill a~-e M~ager ~. MINUTES OF REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING, January 25, 1954 Meeting called to order in the Village Office at 8:00 P.M. Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston and Wenkstern, Manager Leikvold and Attorne~ Bonham. Mr. Jim Fottral, a repre- sentative of the Interstate Power Compan~was also present. The purpose of the meeting was to consider an ordinance grant- ing to Interstate Power Company the right to construct, install, maintain and operate an electric light and power generating plant and distributing system within the Village. The proposed ordinance was gone over in detail. An agreement could not be reached on Section 7 dealing with liability for in- juries.
