DOGS The Village Attorney presented an ammendment to the Nuisance Ordinance which should be helpful in abating the dog nuisance. The Council, however, decided to postpone action until a full council was present. CURB & GUTTER Action on curb and gutter along Highway 15 was also postponed. HEALTH OFFICER Pierce moved, Litts seconded and it was passed unanimously to appoint Dr. Romness the Health Officer for the Village. Litts moved Pierce seconded and it was unanimously carried that the Manager be instructed to write a letter to Dr. Wilkins expressing the sincere thanks of the Council for all his years of faithful service to the Village and its citizens. PARK The Manager reported to the Council that the Park Board had met on April 8th and ~hat it was unanimously agreed and recommended that the pavilion be put 'up for sale; that if there is a need, an open shelter and bath house be installed within three years; and that some play equipment should be purchased. The Council postponed action until a full council was present. BUILDING CODE The Manager reported that the best building code he had en- countered was the "Uniform Building Code, 1952 Edition," published by the Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference. He also stated that this code was recommended by the Building Officials of Rural Hennepin County. The Council directed the Manager to invite the builders in the community to a meeting to get their reactions and recommendations.
