A letter was read from the Public Employees Union Local 918,
asking the Council for a meeting. The Council agreed to take this
matter up the July meeting but directed the Manager to write acknowl-
edging the letter.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried the meeting adjourned
to June 21, 1954 at 8:00 P.M.

Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Park Pavilion.
Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Litts, pierce and Livingston
and Manager Leikvold.
SHIRLEY HILLS DRAINAGE
William Schoell of Pfeifer & Schultz was present with prelim-
inary plans for a storm sewer which would relieve the drainage
situation near the Shirley Hills School. The Council instructed
the manager to check with the County to see what they would con-
tribute to the project. The Council asked the Attorney for an
opinion on which the Mount Olive Luther Church could legally fill
in the ditch ~hich runs across their property and through which

the entire drainage area flows. The Council also asked the .Attorney
to check on whether the Village had an easement across Lot 13,
Block 6, Shirley Hills Unit "B".
The remainder of the evening was spent discussing the feas~tbility
of a sewer system for Mound.
On motion 'duly ~ade, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned
at lO:00 P.M.
MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING
The Board of Review was called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the
Village Office. Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston
and Wenkstern, Manager Leikvold and Deputy Assessor Helen Newell.
Livingston moved, Wenkstern seconded and it was unanimouSly
carried that the meeting adjourn until July 29, 1954.
