Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Litts ~%~and Wenkstern, Manager Leikvold and Attorney Bonham. Trustee Pierce arrived late. EMPLOYEE SALARIES The Manager presented a position classification for each employee ~hich was prepared by the United States Employment Ser- vice. Litts moved, Wenkstern seconded and it was unanimously carried that the Manager be instructed to contact the Union to see if they would revise their salary schedule in conformity with the new position, classification. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT P.I.R. Fund Mr. Litta offered the following resolution ~nd moved its adoption: WHEREAS, on August 10, 1948, a resolution creating a permanent Improvement Revolving Fund and providing for the ISsuance of Bonds to Create and Maintain~Said Fund was d~ly adopted, and, WHEREAS, on September 7, 1948, a Resolution Fixing The Form ' 1486 VILLAGE OF MOUND and Details of Sixty-Three Thousand and No/100 ($63,000.00) Dollars Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund Bonds, Relating to Their Execution and Delivery, And Providing Funds For Their Pa~vment, was duly adopted, wherein there was levied a direct annual ad valorem tax for the years 1948 to 1962, both inclusive, each of which levies were irrepealable except that the Village reserved the right to cancel said levies in the manner and to extent permitted by Minnesota Statutes Annotated, Section 475.26 and, WHEREAS, said Minnesota Statutes Annotated, Section 475.26 was repealed and replaced by Minnesota Statutes Annotated, Sec- tion 475.61 (3) by Laws of 1949, chapter 682, section 11, as amended by Laws of 1951, chapter 422, section 5, and WHEREAS, there remains in said Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund a sum of $335.63 in cash and $23,000 in Certi- ficates of DePosit. NOW THENEFORE BE IT ~ESOLVED THAT: 1. The balance of $23,335.63 in said Permanemt Improve- in meat Revolving F~nd is hereby irrevocably appropriated to the Si~king Fund created by paragraph Number 5 of..said Resolution ~f September 7, 1948, and ..... 2. Livingston seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously. POLICE CAR Livingston moved, Litts seconded and it was passed unani- mously that the Manager get estimated costs on a new police car for budgetary purposes. RURAL HENNEPIN COUNTY NURSING SERVICE LiVingston moved that the Village continue its present VILLAGE OF MOUND 14S7 contract with the Rural Hennepin County Nursing Service. BUILDING INSPECTOR Litts moved that we pay the Building Inspector 150% of fees collected, pa~ment to be made °nly after a building has been in- spected completely and certification of inspection in our possession. After a second by Wenkstern, the motion was carried unanimously. AUDIT Litts moved and Livingston seconded that peat, Marwick and Mitchell Co. be retained to audit the books and records of the Municipal Liquor Store for the year ending December 31, 1954- On a roll call the vote was as follows: Litts Aye Livingston Aye pierce Aye ~enkstern Aye Behmler Aye The motion was carried. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, meeting adjourned to reconvene August 30, 1954.
