VILLAGE OF MOUND
4. Employees shall have the following Holida.~s with pay:
New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, Christmas and one-half day Good Friday.
sundays shall not be considered holidays.
5. Save for police, emergency work on holidays shall carry
double the rate of pay.
6. Beginning January l, 1955 accumulated sick leave at one
day per month to a maximum of 30 days.
7- Two weeks vacati°n with pay after the employee has con-
tinuously occupied the position for one year beginning
with the date of his employment.
8. An employee shall be credited with time accumulated
toward the maximum specified in paragrapbf i above, eMen
though the date of his employment antedates January l,
195~, but no maximum or percentage thereof shall be paid
'until on and after January l, 1955 and shall not be
retroactive ·

Livingston offered the following resolution and moved its

WHEREAS all of the Village workers, with the exception of
Grieshaber, have been given raises, and,
WHEREAS the Council is appreciative of Mr Grieshaber,s
services, .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That Mr. GrieShaber be given
a $100 bonus at the end of the current year.
Litts offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION FOR 1955 TAX LEVY
Mr. Livingston moved that the following sums of money be raised
by tax upon the taxable property of the Village for the following
purposes for the current year:
General Fund $29,225
Firemen's Relief 835
and further not to levy th951,800 on.~ProJect 14, nor the
$6,500 on the P.I.R. Fund, nor tT~e-$1;O00 on Certificate of In-
debtedness, all of which had been certified to the County Auditor
previously.

MINUTES OF REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING October 4, 1954
Meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Mayor
Behmler, Trustees Pierce, Livingston, Wenkstern and Litts, Attorney
Bonham and Manager Leikvold. MUNICIPAL BUILDING
The building program was discussed. The Manager was instructed
to check on Lots 5,6 and 7 Block 3 Shirley Hills Unit F and Lot 9
Block 3 Shirley Hills Unit D as to their availability, cost and
whether they would meet qualifications for a Fire Station.
UNION
A letter was read from Public Employees Union Local 918 stating
that they were petitioning for a hearing and Fact Finding under
