MONEY FOR CHECK CASHING
At the request of ~. W. Grieshaber, head bartender, Litts
moved, Pierce seconded and it was unanimously carried to increase
the amount of money on hand for check cashing purposes by $1,000.
MUNICIPAL BUILDING
Pierce moved that an option to run 6 months be obtained from
Mr. Bronson to sell the Village Lots 9, 10, ll and 12, Block 3,
Shirley Hills Unit "D" for the sum of $2,850 and that $50 be given
for the option. Litts seconded the motion and it was carried
unanimously.
Litts moved that the architects be authorized to go ahead
with preliminary plans on a Fire Station as soon as the option on
the property is obtained. Livingston seconded, and it was carried
un animou sly.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting
adjourned at 12:00 to reconvene October 20th.

ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING October 20, 1954
Meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Village
Office. present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Litts and Wenkstern,
Manager Leikvold and Attorney Bonham. WAGES
Approximately two hours was spent discussing the 1955 wages
with Gardiner, the Union Agent. No action was taken.
MUNICIPAL BUILDING
The Manager reported to the Council that he had been unable
to get an option from Mr. Bronson on his property in Shirley
Hills and that Mr. Bronson no longer wanted to sell this land
to the Village.
Wenkstern moved that an option, to run 6 months, be obtained
from Mr. Wolner to sell the Village Lots 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22
and 23, Block 3, Shirley Hills Unit "F" for the sum of $2,850.
Litts seconded the motion and on a roll call the vote was as
follows:

And so the motion was carried.

Litts moved, Wenkstern seconded and it was carried unani-
mously that the architects be ordered to go ahead on preliminary
plans as soon as an option be obtained from Mr. Wolner.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried the meeting
adjourned at 10:O0 P.M. to reconvene on November 1st.
