1954-11-08VILLAGE OF MOUND 1507. MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, November 8, 1954 Meeting was called to order in the Village Office at 8:00 P.M. Present were Trustees Livingston, Wenkstern and Pierce and Manager Leikvold.~ Trustee Litts and Mayor Behmler came a few minutes later. Acting Mayor Pierce opened the meeting. Minutes of the regular meeting of October ll motion by Livingston, seconded by Pierce, it was ried to approve the minutes as read. were read. On unanimo,~ sly car- Pierce turned the meeting over to Behmler. Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of October 20 were read. Wenkstern moved, Pierce seconded and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes as read. Minutes of the adJonrned regular meeting of November i were read. The Council wished to have the paragraph on the building program stricken out so it would end with "No formal action was taken." Pierce moved, Livingston seconded and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes subject to the above correction. UNION The Union demands were considered. Livingston moved, Wenkstern seconded, and it was unanimoasly carried to hold to the last proposal. seconded table ! VACATING NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that a hearing will be held on Novem- ber 8, 1954 at 8:00 p. m. in the Village Office in Mound relative to vacating the southerly 130 feet~ of East Lane in Mound. CARSTEN D. LEIKVOLD,, Village Manager (10-1~ 21) BUILDING There was considerable discussion of the building, program.by VILLAGE OF MOUND 509. the Council ~ and interested citizens. The Manager presented a resolution that would put the questions on the ballot at the regular Village election. Livingston moved that this resolution be tabled, Litts seconded the motion, and it was passed unanimously. E~ECTI ON Livingston offered the following resolution and moved its ad option: BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The hours of the election to be~ held on December 7, 1954 are hereby established as from 7:00 s.m. to 8:00 p.m. thereof; 2. ~ copy of th&s resolution be posted according to law. Pierce seconded the motion and the roll being called the vote was as follows: Pierce Yea Litts Yea Liy&ngston Yea Wenkstern yea Behmler Yea And so the resolution was adopted.
