1956-06-14VILLAGE OF MOUND 1655 MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING June 14, 1956 The meeting was called to order in the Village Office at 8:~00 P.M. Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees, Lockhart, Adams, and Livingston, Attorney Bonham and Village Manager Vernon Boxell. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 14, 1956 were read. Lockhart moved Adams seconded and they were approved as read. Minutes of Regular Adjourned Meeting of May 28, 1956 were read. Lockbart moved, Adams seconded and they were approved as read. Lockhart presented the resolution that the council meeting date be changed from the second Monday of the month to the first Monday of the month. Livingston seconded the resolution and it was unanimously carried. C .D. ' S AND THANSFEI~ The interest received on the Poor Fund bond, $2,000.00 is $22.50. Adams moved Livingston Seconded that we transfer $500.00 and interest to Poor Fund and put bal- ance of $1500.00 into C.D.'s in denominations of $1,000.00 and $500.00. The interest received on the Water Fund bond, ~3,000.00 is $33.75. Adams moved Livingston seconded that we re-invest the total plus interest in C.D.'s in denom- inations of $1,000.00 ~ ~¥,~ , The motion was unanimously carried. ON & OFF SALE MALT LIQUOR LICENSES Adams moved, Livingston seconded that we grant the following licenses: OFF SALE BEER FEE Sollie' s Grocery 5.00 Bob's Tavern (H.H. DOCK ON BEACH Moti&n by Lockhar5, seconded by Adams that we put in a dock at the beach in Mound Bay Park on Cooks Bay. We are to keep ~ithin the budget for this project.
