MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, October 1, 1956

Present were l~or Behmler~ ..Trustees Lock~mrt, Adams, Pierce and Livingston,
Attorney Bonbam and Manager Boxell. Note: Trustee Livingston was late to
meeting. He waz present only for the discussion on budget.
: MLnutes of regular meeting o£ September ?th were read. Pierce moved, Maas
Seconded, and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes as read.
Minutes of adjourned meting of September 15th were read. Pierce moved,
Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes as read.
Minutes of adjourned meeting of September 24th were read. Note: Pierce
wishes %o state he was late to meeting and was present only for the budget
discussion. )/~/~;~///~C/~/;~/~ Also in regard to the Rivard Property, the
minutes should read: "Miss Bonham made a report on the progress in regar~ to
the ~ivard ~Property.- With these corrections, Pierce moved, Lockhart seconded,
and it was una-~mously carried to approve the minutes.
WA/~MI~ HOUSE
Pierce moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was uanimously carried to approve
a building permit for a warming house on Shirley Hill~ school property for
hockey as requested by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Note: No fee to be
eham~ged for the permit.
TEEN AGE CLUB
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nelson of Spring Park have requested permission to operate
a Teen-Age Club in the Williams Building on Highway #110. Pierce moved, Adams
seconded, and it was unanimously carried to grant permission to operate this club
under the following conditions:
1. Under p~oper' supervision by either Mr. or Mrs. Ralph Nelson at
all times.
2. ~hst abide by all existing village ordinances governing its
operation.
3. Games of Skill to be listed with the Village Manager. He is
also to be informed when a change of games is to be made.

Bond & Interest Pund under P.I.R. Sinking Fund

Interest 537.50
Adams moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to reinvest
$16,500 plus the interest, or $17,037.50, for a period of 12 months as follows:
2 C.D.s of $5,000 each
1 O.D. of $7,037.50
and to transfer the balance of $5,000 to P.I.R. Sinking Fund within the Bond &
Interest Fund.
OFF SALE BEER LICENSE
Pierce moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to grant an
?Off" Sale Beer license to the National Tea Company.
RIVAP~ PROPERTY
The letter of September 19, 1956 by Miss Bonham to White Investment Company
. be rescinded as of October 1, 1956. White Investment Company has not given Miss
Bonbsm an answer to the letter of September 19, 1956 as they stated they would;
so the action taken by the Council as of October 1, 1956 is as follows:
"To restore the second house back to a garage as it was originally
intended to be, and for which the building permit which was issued
called for. Miss Bonham to notify the White Investment Company of
this action taken by the Village Council."

On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned to meet
October 3, 1956 at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station.
