MI~0TES 0F ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING, October 3,
1956
Meeting called to order in the l~re Station by ~a~or Behmler at 8:00 P.M.
Present were Ma~or Behmler, Trustees Pierce, Adams, Lockhart and Livingston,
Attorney Bonham and Manager Boxell. TEE~ AGE CLUB
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nelson of Spzing Park appeared before the council to
discuss Village Ordinance ~36 licensing and regulating gams s of skill and pro-
riding a penalty for the violation thereof.
The Council instructed them to make up a list of the skill games they
wish to operate. This list is to be given to Miss Bonham for study, after
~hich she is to recommend to the Council her opinion as to type or clAssifi-
cation of the machines.
The Council instructed the Village Manager to contact surrounding munici-
palities to find out the procedure they are following or carrying out in regard
to pinball machines and so-called games of skill, and make a report to the Council.
RIVARD PROPERTY
Adems moved and Lockhart seconded to rescind the action taken by the
Council at its October 1, 1956 meeting, the resolution in regard to the
Rivard Property instructing Miss Bonham to inform ~hite Investment Company
to reconvert the second house on its property ba~k to a garage. On roll call
the vote was as follows:
Adams Yea
Lockhart Yea
Livingston Yea
Behmler Yea
Pierce Nay
and so the motion was passed.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried the meeting adjourned to meet
October 4th at §:00 P.M. at the Fire Station.
