Present ~ere Mayor Behm ler, Trustees L&vingston, Adams and Pierce, and ~anager Boxell. BUILD~G PERMIT A. Tonka Toys B. O.K. to follow the plan outlined, as shown on plans: 1. Add another metal building to east of present ones this year 2. 1957 add office building in front of existing buildings and brick face the entire south side of all buildings. Adopting of mill levy for 1957: The following sums of money be raised by tax upon the taxable property of the Village for the following purposes for the current year: General Fund 29.4 mills $30,429 Firemen' s Relief 1.O ' 1,O35 Park ~md 2.5 " 2,587 Fire Hall Bonds 3.1 " 3~208 Total ~" $37,2~9 Further, not to levy $3,0OO for Street I~provement Fund (Project #15, Curb & Outter on Grant & Yale Street), not to levy $1,7OO on Project ~14, and not to levy $6,200 for the P.I.R. Fund as previously certified. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned to recon- vene October 22nd at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station. Present were Ma~or Behmler, Trustees Adams, Fierce, Lockhar~ and Livingston, and Manager Boxell. Pierce moved, Lockhar~ seconded, and it was unanimously carried to grant a street light at the end of Morgan Avenue as requested. Livingston ~oved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to transfer $1,000 to Project #15 (Shirley Hills Drainage and Curb & Gutter on Grant & Yale) from the Liquor Fttnd at the time .of the maturity of the C.D.s, December 31, 1956. TEEN-AGE CLUB The following letter from Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nelson ~as submitted as requested by the Council. The letter fulfilled the requests of the Council.
