VILLAGE OF MOUND
MINUTES OF ~GULAR MEETING, November 5, i 956
Meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 P.M. at the Vii]age
Hall. Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Pierce, Adams, Lockhart and
Livingston, and Manager Boxell.
Minutes of the regular meeting of October 1, 1956 were read.
Minutes of the adjourned meetings of October 3, October 4, October 22
and October 29, 1956 were read. Pierce moved, Lockhart seconded, and it
was unanimously carried to accept the minutes as read.
SU BDIVING OF PROPEEr Y
Pierce moved and Adams seconded that the following provisions must be
fulfilled in ~bdiving property within the village of Mound:
1. Property must be platted, lots to conform to building code
as to size.
2. Roads to be platted 60 feet in width.
3. Roads to be brought up to grade level with drainage and two (2)
inch gravel base to be laid down.
There were three yeas and two nays, and so the motion was passed.
DARYLE TRIPPLER PLATT
Lockhart moved, Pierce seconded and it was unanimously carried to accept
the Daryle Trippler Property Platt tentatively.
COUNTY PARK SYSTEM
The County Park System was defe~rred until action is taken by League of
Minnetonka Municipalities.
VILLAGE ELECTION
Dec. 4
Livingston moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried that the
following citizens comprise the election board:

Livingston moved that the hours of the election to be held on December 4,
1956 be established as from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. A~ams seconded the motion
and it was carried unanimously.

VILLAGE OF MOUND
JUSTICE OF PEACE
Lockhart moved, Adams seconded to appoint Bradley Morrison to fill the
unexpired term of Justice of the Peace. There were four yeas and one nay,
and so the motion was passed.
MINNEAPaLIS PLANNING COMMISSION
1959
Adams moved, Lockharb seconded and it was unanimously carried to appoint~
the village manager as representative to serve on the local arrangements
committee with the Minneapolis Plan_ning Commission for the annual conference
of American Society of Planning Officials to be held in Minneapolis in the
spring of 1959.
NEW FIRE TNJCK
Livingston moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to
appoint Trustee Lockhart and Village Manager Boxell to prepare bids for the
new fire truck for council approval.

Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to cash
a $5,000 Liquor Fund C.D. and transfer the sum of $5,000 from the Liquor Fund
to the General Fund.
On motion dnlymade, seconded and carried, meeting adjourned to reconvene
November 7th, 1956 as a canvassing board at 8:00 P.M. in the Fire Station.
