Present were: I`Iayor Tim Lovaasen~ Councilmembers Orval Fenstad Robert Pol-
ston~ Ben Withhart and Gordon Swenson, tlssessors Milt Hilk and Marvin Jensen
and City rianager Leonard Kopp.
BOARD OF REVIEW
Dorothy and John U~Brien~ 5053 Bartlett Boulevard protested the valuation
placed on the vacant lot abutting their homestead. Plat 62010 Parcel. 4500
Poland IIerbst~ 4638 Bedford P.oad questioned the procedure in increasing
the limited valuation but expressed no complaint.
Florence Peterson 4770 Northern Road registered several non-assessment
related complaints.
Fenstad moved and Swenson seconded a motion
RESOLUTION 77-240 RESOLUTION CONTINUING THE BOARD OF REVIEW UNTIL
JUNE 7, 1977 at 8;30 p.m.
The vote was unanimously in favor.
The Mayor declared the Board of Review meeting closed until June 7, 1977
at 8:30 p.m.

The vote was unanimously in favor.

RESOLUTION 77-242 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID FOR ISLAND PARK
PARK STORM SEWER AND A~~7ARDING TO THE LOW BIDDER
Q. P.. S. CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,774.50
The vote was unanimously in favor.
PAYMENT CF BILLS
Swenson moved and Fenstad seconded a motion to authorize payment of a $100.00 -
refund to Frank Blumberg and St. Paul Title Insurance Company which had been
held in escrow in regard to the Strafford P.oad upgrading. The vote was un-
animously in favor.

CITY CFFICE HOURS
The City Manager notified the council that the City offices will remain open
until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday's starting in June to enable citizens to transact

The Council discussed their recently passed policy relating to the purchase
of tax forfeited land as it regards Lot 1, }31ock 15, Devon. It ~.~as the
decision of the council to remain with their position as stated i:r Resolution
77-235 by a straw vote of four to one, witl~i the I`iayor casting the dissenting
vote.

The Council proceeded with discussion of the zoning ordinance.
Swenson moved and Fenstad seconded a motion to adjourn until the meeting
of June 7, 1977 at 7:00 p.m. for informal hearing on Langdon Heights
and at 8:30 p.m. for continuation. of the Hoard of Review. The vote was
unanimous~.y in favor, so carried and adjourned.
