SANITARY DISPOSAL SYBTEM
O. L. Kaupanger presented a report to the council on step it should take
to obtain Federal Aid.
1. MAke application for Federal Aid
2. Prepare a bill to p~esent to next legislature for the creation of
a Sanitary or Drainage District in this area.
Mr~ Kaupanger also stated State Department of Health and State Department
of Water Pollution were very interested and favorable for such a district.
Suggest the council to contact Mr. Rogers of State Department of Health
in regard to this matter of Sewage Disposal.

MINUTES OF ADJOUP~ED REGULAR ~EETING, November 26, 1956
Meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station. Present were
Mayor Bhemler, Trustees Livingston and Lockhart and AttorneyBonham.
Absent were Trustees Adams and Pierce and Manager Boxell.
SEWAGE SYSTEM
Mr. Wheeler of Pfeiffer and Schultz discussed the latest information
concerning a sewage system for the village. The Council agreed without
official action on a series of three meetings:
The engineers to present a calculated figure of costs. Surrounding
communities to be invited to this meeting. Possibly a decision
would be made as to the inclusion of surrounding areas so far as
future provision for their sewage disposal.
2. Presentation of a financial plan for the sewage system as determined
by meetings.

3. Presentation to the public. Possibly a decision as to .a bond election.
FIEE T~JCK SPECIFICATIONS
After a discussion of fire truck specifications, it was decided that Mr.
Lockhart and Manager Boxell together with Fire Chief Bowers are to determine
what equipment from the old truck can be used. Thinking relative to bids
indicated advisability to call for a basic bid together with a number of
options~ which are to be determined from above examination of the old truck.
EMPLOYEE WAGES
Discussion of employee w~ges situation was tabled until the recovery of Manager
Boxell. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, t.~eet~g ~adjourned.

MINUTES OF EEGUIAR MEETING, December 3, 1956
Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor Behmler. Present were Mayor
Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Pierce, Adams and Lockart, and Attorney Bonhm~.
Village Manager Boxell was absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of November 5 were read. There was one correction
- Fire Chief Lloyd Bowers was also appointed with Trustee Lockhart and Village
Manager Boxell to prepare bids for the new fire truck. With this correction,
Livingston moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to approve the
minutes.
Minutes of the Canvassing Board of November ? were read. Adams moved,
Lockhart seconded and iZ was unanimously carried to approve., the minutes as read.
Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of November ? were read. Lockhart
moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes as
read.
Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of NovemBer 26th were read.
Lockhart moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimouslycarried to approve
the minutes as read.
WAGE DISCUSSION
The wage discussion was tabled until the recovery of Village Manager Boxell.
