1977-07-19123 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL July 19~ 1977 1 1 Pursuant to due call and notice therof~ a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of riound~ Hennepin County riinnesota was held at 5341 Maywood Road in said City on July 19, 1977 at 8:00 p.m. Those present. were; riayor Tim Lovaasen Councilmembexs Orval Fenstad Gordon Swenson Robert Polston and Benjamin Withhart. Also present were City Manager Leonard L. Kopp and City Cierk Diary H. Iā€¢iarske. REQUEST FOP. ROAD CLOSING The City Manager presented a petition received from property owners along Cambridge Lane from Bedford Lane to Brighton Boulevard requesting that Cambridge Lane be closed. Fenstad moved and Polson seconded a motion RESOLUTICN 77-307 The vote was uanimously in favor. TUXEDC EASEAiENTS RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING OF CAAiBRIDGE LANE FROI.1 BEDFORD LANE TO BRIGHTON BOULEVARD. Fenstad moved and Lovaasen seconded a motion RESOLUTION 77-308 RESOLUTION AUTI.ORILIrdG OBTAINING OF RIGHT OF WAY EASEPIENT OF LOTS 9- & 10~ BLOCK 10, DEVON IN THE J10UNT OF X680.00 FOR TUXEDO BOULEVARD. The vote was unanimously in favor. COMr1ENTS AND SUGGESTIONS FROiS CITIZENS PRESENT 4Jendy Graves 2928 Tuxedo Boulevard requested that the Council place discussion of the traffic. problem at Manchester and Tuxedo Boulevard on the agenda of July 26~ 1977 in regard to the frequent accidents at that intersection in the recent weeks. ELECTION E(~UIPr1ENT Lovaasen mooed and Polston seconded a motion. RESOLUTION 77-309 The vote was unanimously in favor. REVENNE S'rIARING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUP.CHASE OF A CRIMPING hSACHINE FOR THE ELECTROIv'IC VOTING MACHINES IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,280.00. Lovaasen moved end Fenstad seconded a motion RESOLUTION 77-310 The vote was unanimously in favor. TP.ANSI EP. Lovaasen moved and Polston seconded a motion P.ESOLUTIOPI 77-3 i 1 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TF.ANSFER Or CEr.TAIrd CITY FUNDS.
