FIRE TN]CK SPECIFICATIONS
After a discussion of fire truck specifications~ it was decided that Mr.
Lockhart and Manager Boxell together with Fire Chief Bowers are to determine
what equipment from the old truck can be used. Thinking relative to bids
indicated advisability to call for a basic bid together with a number of
options, which are to be determined from above examination of the old truck.
EMPLOYEE WAGES
Discussion of employee wages situation was tabled until the recovery of Manager
Boxell. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, t~e~meet~g~adjourned.

MINUTES OF REGUIAR MEETING, December 3, 1956
Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor Behmler. Present were Mayor
Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Pierce, Adams and Lockart, and Attorney Bonhsm.
Village Manager Boxell was absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of November 5 were read. There was one correction
- Fire Chief Lloyd Bowers was also appointed with Trustee Lockhart and Village
Manager Boxell to prepare bids for the new fire truck. With ~his correction,
Livingston moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously cax-rled to approve the
minutes.
Minutes of the Canvassing Board of November 7 were read. Adams moved,
Lockhart seconded and i~ was unanimously carried to approve~ the minutes as read.
Minutes of the adjourned reg,lsr meeting of November 7 were read. Lockbart
moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes as
read.
Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of November 26th were read.
Lockhart moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to approve
the minutes as read.
WAGE DISCUSSION
The wage discussion was tabled until the recovery of' Village Manager Boxell.

Pierce moved, Livingston seconded and it was unanimously carried to refer

the Northern States Power contract to Miss Bonham to negotiate a franchise
sdmailar to the present ordinance with Interstate Power Company.
FIRE ENGINE
Mr. Lockhart reported that no equipment on present fire engine is trans-
ferable.
CANVASSING BOARD
Pierce moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to meet as
a Canvassing Board onWednesday, December 5, 1956.
CLERK RESIGNATION
Lockhartmoved, Pierce seconded and it was unanimously carried to accept
the resignation of Edna J. Gooder as Clerk of the Village of Mound and to
send a letter of appreciation and recognition for services.
TPd~ASURER RESIGNATION
Adams moved, Lockhart seconded and it was unanimously carried to accept
the resignation of Louise Huestis as Treasurer of the Village of Mound and to
send a letter of appreciation and recognition for services.
UPPER TONKA CGJNCIL
Livingston moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to grant
$100.00 to the Upper Tonka Council for recreational purposes as requested by
Herb Miller, the request to be granted when funds are available.
HAYES DALTON
Hayes Dalton appeared before the council and thanked for work done on Lake
Street. Also requested a beer license for the Casino. Adams moved, Pierce
seconded and it was unanimously carried to refer the request to Attorney ~Bonham.
