Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of htound, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 5341 Maywood Road
in said City on October 4, 1977 at 7:00 p.m.
Those present were: Mayor Tim Lovaasen, Councitmembers Orval Fenstad, Robert
Polston and Gorden Swenson. Also present were City Manager Leonard L. Kopp
and City Clerk Mary .i. ~larske.

Gene Garvais, Fire Chief and several firemen were present to discuss the
Firemen's Pension Plan as relates to the 197° Budget.

The City Clerk presented an affidavit of publication in the official newspaper
of the notice of public hearing regarding water turn offs. Said affidavit was
then examined, approved and ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk.
The Mayor then opened the hearing for public input on said water turn offs and
persons present to do so were afforded the opportunity to express their views
thereon. Persons present offering Questions or comments included:

The City Planner briefly described the Home Improvement Loan Program to the
Council.
Councilmember Fenstad suggested the intersection of County Road 125 and
Brighton Boulevard be reviewed for additional stop signs.
Fenstad moved and Swenson seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting to the next
regular meeting of the Council on October 11, 19.77. The vote was. unanimously
in favor, so earried and adjourned.
