with Interstate Power aud the new contract offered by Northern States Power. She
referred to Section 3 of the N.S.P. contract and Section 5 of our present ordinauce,
the same as Section 3. We also have a section ? clause covering general liability.
Pierce moved, Lockharb seconded and it was unanimously carried that the
Council instruct Attorney Bon~am to contact Northern States Power by letter in
regard to Section 17 of our present contract and Section 2 of bhe proposed
contract in regard to rates. The question was raised: "Why can't we receive
N.S.P. rates at once and sign franchise later~
