1958-03-27VILLAGE OF MOUND 1811 Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association The meeting of the.~Mound Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association was held March 24, 1958 - 8:00 P.'M. in the Mound Fire Station. Present: Officers of the Association and its Board of Directors, Mayor Behmler, the Village Clerk, the Village Treasurer and the Village Manager. Discussion was in regard to.the finances of the Relief Association. By Resolution - The Farmers and Mechanics Saving Bank of Minneapolis, was selected as the second depository for the Relief Association. By Resolution - The sum of eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00) be transfered from the State Bank of Mound to a saving account in the Farmers and Mechanics Saving Bank of Minneapolis. By Resolution - The sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) in the State Bank of Mound be invested in C. D. 's in denominations of $1,000 for one year. The Village Manager reported the proceedings to the Council, at the March 27, 1958, Special Meeting of the Mound Village Council. MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING - March 27, 1958 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station The meeting was called t~ order by lViayor Behmler, present were Trustees Livingston, Adams, Brazman and Manager Boxell. Brazman offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption PLANNING COM/VIISSION WHEREAS, the following individuals be appointed to the Planning Commission: Three year term Dr. Robert LaFavor Phil Lansing Two year term Louis Oberdeck Ralph Huss 1812 VILLAGE OF MOUND One year term Roger Reed O.L. Kaupanger Livingston seconded and upn roll cai the vote was as follows: Livingston Aye Adams Aye Brazman Aye Behmler Aye and so the motion carried. COUNCIL Adams offered the following resolution and moved its adoption: MEMBER PLANNING WHEREAS, TruCe Brazman be appointed as the Council COMMISSION member to serve on the Planning Commission. Livingston seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote the vote v~s as follows, Livingston Aye Adams Aye Behmler Aye Br azman Not voting and so the motion carried. C ONDE MNAT ION OF PROPERTY Adams offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, WHEREAS, the following property be condemned Highlands, Lot 13 Block 1 Plat 61610 Parcel 300 Owner- J. S. F. Thiel Plat 61890 Parcel 4600 Livingston seconded and upon roll call the vote was as follows: Livingston Aye Adams Aye Brazrnan Aye Behmler Aye and so the motion carried. VILLAGE OF MOUND Adams moved the adjornment o£ the meeting to the F~egular Meeting of Apr//, which was set for Apr// 16 instead of the regular second Tuesday of the month. Conflicting engagements made the change adviseable. Brazman seconded and the meeting adjourned after an unanimous vote. village Managgr - ' MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING - April 16, 1958 8:00 P.M. Mound Fire Station The meeting was called to order by Mayor Behmler; present were Trustees Livingston, Adams, Brazman, Larson and Manager Boxe11. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 11, 1958 were read. Brazman moved and Larson seconded a motion to accept the minutes as read, the vote was unanimous in favor, so carried to accept.
