Meeting held May 1, 1958, Shirley Hills School, attending Village Council,
members of School Board #2?7, Mound Planning Commission, representa-
tives of Minnesota Board of Health.
Ray Cox, chairman of School Board District #277. requested the Village
Council to have a definite answer on their position on a sewage disposal
system by the June regular meeting of the School Board. (June 9, 195~

8:00 P.M. - Mound Fire Station
The m'eeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor Behmler, present
were Trustees, Larson and Brazman. Barbara Heyman took minutes in
the absence of the Village Manager.
Elizabeth Bon_ham representing Wm. Dressel, and Mr. Wm.
Dressel were present and offered the Plat of Ln-~gdon Heights
for acceptance by the Council..

Bonham stated' the Council was required to accept the plat under
MS 505.03 for recording because: under MS 471.26 the Village
had not:
Prepared a detailed map of the Village
Had an Ordinance for Municpal Planning
.Filed certified copies of ordinance and map with the Register of
Deeds
Bonham offered the plat of L~gdon Heights to the Council for record-
ing with the Register of Deeds. Certificate of the Surveyor conform-
ing to statute; the abstract of Title certified to Jan. 10, 1955, Abstract
of Title certified to Aug. 4, 1954, showing title in Joseph Case. ~ Deed
dated Jan. 21, 1955, Joseph Case to Langdon Heights, recorded, Dec.

Brazman moved the council select an unbiased attorney to verify the
procedure of accepting the plat of Lnagdon Heights. Larson seconded,
carried by unanious vote.
The Council instructs the C6~it:to draw up an ordinance to cover the
granting or registering of plats.

A Liquor bill from Lynn Johnson for $1,374.54 was presented for
approval of payment to gain a discount of $13. 88.
Brazman moved approval of payment where funds are available,
Larson seconded, motion carried by unanimous vote in favor.

REOPEN-
ING
After much discussion pro and con about the re-opening of the
Liquor On Sale by Council and a group of interested spectators;
Brazman moved that the Council instruct the manager to give us facts
and figures as to the cost of re-op~g the On Sale Liquor Ol~ration
and give recommendations for the future.
Seconded by Larson, unanimous for, none opposed, carried.
VILLAGE Of MOUND
Upon complaint of citizen; the Council instructs the Manager
to investigate the presence of chickens wttf' ae village.
Larson moved the adjournment of the meeting until the next
regular meeting, May 13, 1958. Brazma~ seconded, all
in favor,, carried and adjourned.

The meeting was called to order by MaYor Behmler present were
Trustees, Livingston, Adams, Larson, Brazman and Manager

The minutes of the regular meeting of April 16, 1958 were read and
approved upon a motion by Brazman, second by Livingston and a
unanimous vote in favor.
The minutes of adjourned meeting of April 29, 1958 were read, and
accepted, upon motion by Larson and second by Brazman with the
following correction:
"The council instructs the manager to secure information on
the procedure and method used in the acceptance of plats by the
Village Council."
Livingston moved' and Adams seconded a mot;~on to p~r all the following
bills where funds are avaiable, except the Liquor Bills and the Special
Assessment Bill for Project #8 in the sum of $6,440.50
