Mound Fire Station
Present: Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Adams, Larson,
Brazman and Manager Boxell.
1959 Budget D~c. ussion- Building Inspectors Fund
The Fund nee~ 1.09 to put it in a sound financial status.
Larson moved the sum of $491.09 be accepted as the amount owing
in the Building Inspector Fund.
Brazman seconded the motion. The vote was 4 Yeas and 1 Nay.
So carried and accepted.
Adams moved and Livingston seconded a motion not to make a levy
in the General Fund for the sum of 49 1.09 for the Building Inspector
Fund.
Roll Call vote was taken, results as follows:

So motion was not passed.
Livingston moved that all collectable accounts as shown by the 1958
Audit in the General Fund, be applied to the Building Inspector Fund.
Seconded by Adams.
Vote taken was 2 Yeas and 3 .Nays
So motion was not passed.
Brazman moved that the sum of $491.09 be levied in the General Fund
for the Building Inspector's Fund.
Larson seconded the motion.
Vote taken was 3 Yeas and 2 Nays
So carried and passed.
Larson moved, Whereas, the sum of $491.09 being the amount sub-
mitted as short in the Building Inspector Fund to pay all encumbered
inspection fees; a certification from the Building Inspector of a
complete bill for inspection fees on 1956 - 1957 permits be rendered
to the Village Council as of January 1, 1958
The vote was taken and resulted in 3 Yeas and Z Nays.
So carried and so ordered.

Livingston moved that the sum of SZ, 000 be budgeted in the General
Fund instead of $3,000, for 1959 audit of the Village records.

Livingston proposed the following resolution and moved its acceptance, for
AUDIT 1957
WHEREAS, there is a surplus in the Water Fund in the sum of $319. 51;

Livingston moved the bill presented by Bryant Rock Products Co.
for the sum of $166.98 be paid where funds are available.
Larson seconded the motion.
So carried and passed.
The vote was unanimous in favor.
Transfer of Funds for P. E. R.A. Fund
Livingston offered the following resolution and moved its approval,
WHEREAS, the 1957 Village Council did not levy, two and one-half
(2 1/2) Mills to pay the delinquient 1956-57 P. E. R.A. amounting to
$2,420.08, but rather than levy this amount the Council agreed to
meet this obligation by transferring moneys from the surplus in the
Liquor Fund to the General Fund for such purpose; and,
WHEREAS, such transfers with the exception of $1,000 transferred
from Liquor Fund have not been made, therefore;
Be it resolved, that in order to pay up the balance of the 1956-57
P. E. R.A. delinquiency amounting to ~, 420.68 that the
following
transfers be made;
WHEREAS, Project #5 is fully paid up and has a surplus of $358. 76,
that this sum be now transferred to the liquor fund in repayment of
a loan made in 1953 and further be transferred from the Liquor Fund
to the General Fund and than transferred to the 1956-57 P. E. R. A.
Fund and,
WHEREAS, Project #6 is fully paid up and has a surplus of $85.05;
that this sum be transferred to the Liquor Fund in repayment of a
loan made in 1953 and then be further transferred from the Liquor
Fund to the General Fund to be transferred to the balance due on
the delinquient 1956-57 P. E. R.A. Fund.
WHEREAS, there will be a balance of $500 in the 1958 P. E. R. A.
Fund this balance be applied on the 4, 420.68 deficit and,
WHEREAS, Project #16 which is paid up had a surplus of $328. 05
which was borrowed from the Water Fund, that this $328.05 be
now transferred to the Water Fund and,
WHEREAS, the Water Fund must bear its share of the payment of the
delinquient 1956-57 P. E. R.A. deficit that this amount be now
transferred from the Water Fund to the General Fund and further
transferred from there to the 1956-57 P. E. R.A. Fund to help
meet the deficit, and,

WHEREAS, these transfers total $1,271. 86 and the 1956-57 P.E.R.A. FROM
deficit is ~420.68 be it further resolved that there be declared a WATEP~
surplus in the Water Fund of $148.82 and that this amount be transferred FUND
from the Water Fund to the General Fund, and further be transferred to '
the 1956-57 P. E. R.A. Fund to complete the payment of the clelinqu~erit
Village obligation in the P. E. R.A. Fund.
